He began competing on the independent circuit until he made his first major outing on February 6, 2006, at Insanity Pro Wrestling's Sacrifice event, where he took part in a five-man elimination match involving future long-time rival Chuck Taylor, DieHard, Tony Galloway and Ty Blade. Professional wrestling career Early career (2003–2006) He later would go on to win the Intercontinental Championship on an episode of SmackDown in 2022, making him the first wrestler to hold all of WWE's three major secondary titles.
